Board of Directors
Your Board
The Lago Bello HOA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by and from the homeowners of our community. The Board is responsible for managing the Association's common areas, enforcing the CC&Rs, setting the annual budget, and making decisions that protect and improve our neighborhood.
Board members are your neighbors — volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping Lago Bello a great place to live. Their authority and responsibilities are defined in the community Bylaws.
How Elections Work
Annual Meeting
The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual Meeting of the Association. Every homeowner in good standing is entitled to attend and vote. Meeting notices are sent to all members in advance.
Who Can Serve
Any homeowner who is a member of the Association in good standing may be nominated to serve on the Board. Directors serve terms as defined in the Bylaws and may be re-elected.
Voting
Each lot is entitled to one vote. Votes may be cast in person at the Annual Meeting or by proxy. A quorum of members must be present or represented for the election to proceed.
Officers
Once elected, the Board appoints officers from among its members — typically a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer — to handle the day-to-day business of the Association.
Get Involved
A strong community depends on the participation of its residents. Whether you have five minutes or five hours a month, there are meaningful ways to contribute.
Attend Meetings
Come to the Annual Meeting and any special meetings called by the Board. Your voice and your vote shape the direction of our community.
Volunteer
The ACC, lake maintenance, landscaping, and community events all benefit from resident volunteers. No experience needed — just a willingness to pitch in.
Run for the Board
Interested in helping guide our community? Consider running for a seat on the Board at the next Annual Meeting. New perspectives are always welcome.
Questions or Ideas?
The Board is always open to hearing from homeowners. Whether you have a question, a suggestion, or want to learn more about getting involved, don't hesitate to reach out.
